The Elk Neck Trail is set up to run from the Turkey Point lighthouse at the southern tip of Elk Neck to the lighthouse in the North East Town Park. The one exception remains between Shady Beach and McKinneytown Roads. Turkey Point and its lighthouse are prominent features in Elk Neck State Park, and they offer a magnificent panorama of the Chesapeake Bay headwaters, which include the Susquehanna, North East, Elk, Bohemia and Sassafras rivers.
The Elk Neck Trail itself is marked The trail

The ENTA fall maintenance day is set for Saturday Sept.
12th. Ranger Steve Wolf, President Michael Garrity and myself inspected the
Elk Neck State Park cleanup area on Sunday. We feel it may require about 10

The Hill Top Shelter just past the State Park main office entrance on the right.
