See below about the June 7 trail clearing needs __________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Elk Neck Trail will soon be set up to run with one exception from the Turkey Point lighthouse at the southern tip of Elk Neck to the lighthouse in the North East Town Park. Turkey Point and its lighthouse are prominent features in Elk Neck State Park, and they offer a magnificent panorama of the Chesapeake Bay headwaters, which include the Susquehanna, North East, Elk, Bohemia and Sassafras rivers. Eventually, with extensions the trail will go all the way to North East, Maryland from the lighthouse.
